Electronic waste (e-waste) is one of the fastest-growing waste streams in the UK and globally driven by our increasing reliance on digital devices in everyday life. From smartphones and laptops to fridges, medical equipment, and even vacuum cleaners, over 50 million tonnes of e-waste are generated worldwide every year.Much of this waste comes from consumers and businesses discarding old or unused electronics often before their useful life is truly over. At WeRecycle Tech CIC, we’re working to change that by promoting reuse, repair, and responsible recycling across communities.
