At We Recycle, we’re more than just a recycling company. We’re a Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to building a fairer, greener digital future. Founded to tackle two major challenges — e-waste and digitalexclusion. We help individuals, organisations, and communities across the UK gain access to affordable tech, while reducing the harmful impact of electronic waste.

Our Mission

At WeRecycle Tech CIC, our mission is to bridge the digital divide and reduce electronic waste by giving unused tech a second life.We collect, repair, and redistribute electronics to support low-income households, charities, and community groups across the UK. Through refurbishment, digital training, and responsible recycling, we empower people with access to technology while protecting the environment.As a not-for-profit CIC, everything we do is driven by social impact and sustainability — not profit.

Who We Support

We work with: • Low-income individuals and families without access to digital devices. • Schools, charities and community groups in need of tech. • Young people and jobseekers looking to build skills in IT repair. • Businesses and public sector bodies seeking ethical e-waste disposal

What Makes Us Different

Unlike commercial operators, we reinvest every penny of surplus into oursocial goals:
• Providing free or low-cost laptops to those in need.
• Delivering digital literacy training across underserved communities.
• Creating hands-on learning and volunteering opportunities in tech repair.
• Hosting community repair cafés and fix-it workshops

A Circular, Social Tech Model

We collect surplus or broken tech, refurbish it in-house or with trained volunteers and give it a second life reducing waste and creating positive social impact at every step. We’re proud to be part of a circular economy movement where tech doesn’t go to waste, it goes to work.
